This time a very special and beautiful Hobbit arrived: a FIRST print 1986. Hardback with dust jacket from Slovenia, illustrated by Mirna Pavlovec.
This Hobbit arrived thanks to Meta Jerman from Slovenia. She bought it for me on a sort of Slovenian eBay. Thanks, Meta.

June 2009 I started this site, the site on which you can take a look at my collection of that famous book “The Hobbit”. Lots of information about each edition, some 350 Hobbits in / from 55 languages / countries.
Today there is hobbithunter 2.0, with a new format and adepted to tablets and smartphones. And now there are 589 Hobbits in / from 77 languages / countries.
And …. the hunt goes on. Soon I will welcome a new Hobbit from Mongolia and the first printing of the Slovenian Hobbit.

In 2008 there was the first translation of The Hobbit in Arabic. This paperback Arabic translation was printed – in 2015 – in Egypt.
