NB: This is a translation into Russian, but printed in Uzbekistan.
So, for me it is a Hobbit from Uzbekistan.
The name of the translator already dit rincle a bell (proper English?).
Thanks Aaron for informing me.

NEW HOBBITS HAVE ARRIVED …

It’s great to be back after six weeks of rehabilitation from a broken femur.
During that time, six new Hobbits showed up. They are listed below.
Thanks to Nicolas (1x Spain, 3x Argentina), Kestutis (Lituania) and amazon (Italy).

NEW HOBBIT HAS ARRIVED ….

This time a very beautifully illustrated German Hobbit arrived.
Illustrated by Tove Jansson.

This Hobbit is # 953 in my Hobbit collection.

There also is a Danish translation with this cover (2022) and a Norwegean translation (2023).
In October France will follow.
Finland had two illustrated Hobbits by Tove, in 1973 and 2017, but with another front.

A severe rib contusion has left me without the energy to update my site for over two months.
Fortunately, the complaints are now as good as over and today, Easter Sunday, I have added 26 new Hobbits to my site.

Seven times modern Chinese, two times French, two times The Hobbit in two parts from Korea, two Spanish Hobbits, one Russian, one Hungarian, one from Lithuania, one Danish, three from Poland, one from Uruguay (FIRST), also one from Australia (FIRST) and last but not least the two editions of Gaelic (Scotland) (FIRST), again a beautiful edition by Michael Everson of Evertype.
My collection now consists of 935 Hobbits from 97 countries or in 97 languages.

Thanks to Brigitte (Chinese and Korean Hobbits), Eric & Liesbeth (France and Spain) and Kacper (Poland) for their help in purchasing the new Hobbits.

And … the hunt continues.
